Microwave Motion Detector Module NP IBT 1.0

Microwave motion detector module NP IBT 1.0 is an electronic module designed for detecting motion activity in the sensitivity area of the module. The module shall be used as a part of object detection and monitoring systems and can be embedded in the installations on the floor, shelves, walls or ceiling. The device itself is a UWB radar operating in a license free frequency band between 6.0 and 8.5 GHz.

The module can be placed in any non metallic casing having suitable size and fixed with thermoplastic glue. Fixing points on the PCB shall be located on the opposite side from the antenna reflectors and shall be spare from electronic components. Please be careful about PCB metallization and do not damage plates and routes. Also, it is possible to drill holes D 2-3 mm for the bolts at the PCB corners nearby the antenna reflectors.

WARNING! Fixing the PCB can be done with non metal bolts, piles and nuts only! Plastic or nylon parts shall be OK for mounting.

Using metallic clamps can influence on antenna parameters. Correct device operation is not guaranteed in this case.
